If there's wildlife within sight, Steve always spots it, and I never do. Apparantly that's a Cormorant. Live with an avid nature-lover long enough and you begin to think that might be very important information to share.
Every few hours there's a ferry waiting to take you to Vancouver Island at this dock. It'll cost you $45 to get out of Powell River with your family. Another $45 to get back. And that's why the rent is cheap.

Not at all. Simple to get one, I suppose, as long as you have $1500 kicking around.
